For our international art project Vineta Pavilion No. 1 we are bringing over the unique flutist and composer Yael Acher “KAT” Modiano (*Tel Aviv) from New York to Berlin & Venice. Her cutting-edge performance includes live electro-acoustic flute & electronics soundtrack to screening of Oswald’s 1919 Expressionist silent film and first gay movie “Anders als die Anderen” (Different from the Others).

“KAT” Modiano is currently living in New York and will present her performance for Vineta Pavilion No. 1 for the first time at 14th September during the Berlin Art Week in Berlin. The second time she will perform in Venice on 7th October during the opening of our project. To fund this transatlantic collaboration that involves flights, broad, and performance related expenses, we have set up a crowdfunding campaign on indiegogo.com.
